When I was asked by one of my photographer colleagues to document his wedding I jumped at the chance! As crazy as this may sound and with all the added pressures of shooting for a fellow photographer, this didn’t put me off.
The wedding held at Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire, so I travelled down from Nottingham the evening before in, lets say some changeable weather! I woke up on the day, fresh and raring to go and the sun was shining! However knowing good old Blighty I knew this could change at any minute and thanks to the BBC Weather forecast I was in the know! The sun shone until the moment the ceromony was over and my lovely bride and groom stepped outside the hotel. I knew I only had about 20mins before the light spitting changed to heavy rain, fortunately we just managed to fit in the confetti shot, all the family group shots and more importantly the close and personal Bride and Groom portraits before the rain took hold!Phew!
The rest of the wedding was concealed inside one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever had the pleasure of working in. Thank you Andrew and Natalie for a fantastic day. It was a privaledge sharing this with you.
